The studio
Printed in the hour between dusk and lamplight
Nik's Gallery began with a shoebox of 1958 park posters found in a shuttered Edinburgh bookshop — sun-faded ochres, olive shadows, a strange stillness. We rebuild that feeling for the modern wall: the geometry and flat inks of mid-century travel printing, drawn out into an extreme 1:3 vertical and shaded with something quieter and darker.
Every panel is proofed on paper, corrected by eye, then printed in small archival runs and stretched by hand. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is bright for the sake of it.
